2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Germany. When you open a page, the server automatically stores information your browser sends (IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser type). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is the secure and stable operation of the website. A data processing agreement with STRATO is in place.
3. Fonts
All fonts are loaded locally from this server. No connection is made to Google Fonts or any other font provider.
4. Embedded YouTube videos
Episode pages include videos from YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). When you open an episode page, only a preview image from this server is shown and no connection to YouTube is made. Only when you click the preview does the player load in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). At that point data is sent to YouTube, including your IP address, and it may be transferred to the USA. The legal basis is your consent given by the click (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). 5. Audio player
The podcast episodes are hosted by Spotify for Creators (formerly Anchor), a service of Spotify AB, Regeringsgatan 19, 111 53 Stockholm, Sweden. The audio files are delivered via the Amazon CloudFront content delivery network. The player does not preload anything when the page opens. Only when you press play is the file requested from the provider and your IP address sent to it. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
6. Links to platforms
The footer links to YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Blanker Horror. These are plain links. No data is sent until you click a link and open the page, where the privacy policy of that provider applies.
7. Cookies and analytics
This website sets no tracking or analytics cookies. Technically necessary cookies are only set when logging in to the admin area.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
